Fire Protection Specialists

Paul Hail graduated from Santa Clara University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1992.  After graduation he worked with Jack Costella designing and building Nebulous Theorem III which has set many land speed records and is still being raced 20+ years after being completed.   He worked in Silicon Valley as a process and control systems engineer in the information storage industry manufacturing disks for computer hard drives.   He visited Alaska several times and moved to the state with his family in 1997.  After moving to Alaska, he began working in the fire protection industry.
His fire protection career has been in the oil industry both brown field and green field projects from small upgrade projects to full oil processing facilities.  He has worked all phases of projects from conceptual studies through execute, commissioning and turnover.  He has provided code analysis and worked compliance issues as a liaison between clients and the State Fire Marshal.
He holds State of Alaska Fire Systems Permits IC for the design and installation of Fire Alarm Systems as well as a IIIC-DO permit for the design of Special Hazards Systems.  He is a member of NFPA, NICET and SFPE.
